Dr. Courtney Kelly has been extremely active from a very young age, always being involved in at least one sport. At 11-years-old, she started seeing a chiropractor for neck and back pain, which helped tremendously, and she continued to see her chiropractor throughout her teenage years for headaches. Although she had utilized chiropractic most of her life, Dr. Kelly hadn’t thought of it as a career opportunity until college when she worked for a chiropractor as his assistant. It was an inspiring experience watching patients live healthier, happier lives and heal without the use of medications or surgery.
Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s in Biology. She continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic- Florida, where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic. During school, Dr. Kelly was an executive member of the sports council board and a teaching assistant for both the clinical and rehabilitation departments. In her last year, she volunteered with the Special Olympics as the head coach for the Volusia County softball team, being awarded the Coach’s Leadership Award.
